It’s no surprise that ChatGPT is continuing to see more fierce competition coming to market, but Claude 2 might be the one that takes the throne.
AI firm Anthropic recently released their latest natural language AI model, Claude 2. Already it’s achieved an impressive 76.5% on the multiple choice section of the Bar exam as well as scoring above the 90th percentile on the GRE reading and writing exams.
But the real power in Claude 2 comes from the edge it has over ChatGPT right now.

Pricing
While ChatGPT offers both a limited free plan and a more premium paid plan, Claude 2 is completely free to use. At least for now.
Data Access
As we infamously know, ChatGPT’s knowledge base only includes world knowledge up to 2021, but Claude 2 is able to access much more recent data — including some from 2023 already!
Note: Claude 2 is currently only available in the US & UK. However, you can still access it elsewhere if using a VPN.
Prompt Limits
Claude 2 offers much less restrictive text and document inputs allowing you to easily process even 100k tokens versus ChatGPT’s 32k token limit.
